Cozumel is the largest Caribbean Island of Mexico and located East of Playa Del
Carmen (40 minutes by ferry). The island is approximately 30 miles long and 10
miles wide. The capital is called “San Miguel”, and also the main ferry terminal to
main land is located in the centre of the town. Just to the South is the main Cruise
Liner Port!
For holiday makers & vacationers Cozumel provides relaxation, exploration,
adventure, and peace & tranquillity, plus a little bit of fun thrown in for good
measure! The island boasts a few large All Inclusive Resorts just south of San
Miguel, many beachfront rustic villas, bungalows, and a few small hotels, plus the
Cozumel International Airport just north of the island.
Cozumel also boasts a variety of History & Culture, from Mayan
occupation to the arrival of the Spaniards, and left a wealthy legacy
for people to enjoy whilst visiting. “San Gervacio” & “El Cedrall” are
two of the sites you can visit, plus the museum located in the centre of
downtown “San Miguel”.
Cozumel also boasts one of the best golf courses in Mexico, which
was designed by the Jack Nicklaus Design Group. Do not be
surprised to encounter crocodiles, racoons, blue crabs, and iguanas
on the course while you are playing your round. The construction of
this wonderful course has maintained the local ecology of the island,
and the natural habitat of these amazing creatures. Cozumel
Country Club is committed to the conservation of the island, and the
marshes, tropical rainforest, and mangroves have been preserved,
whilst providing excellent facilities for the golf enthusiasts!

Entertainment is not too far away in Cozumel, although it will not match Cancun
or Playa Del Carmen, it can still hold its own! Senor Frogs, Carlos & Charlie’s,
and Hard Rock Cafe provide great atmosphere day and night.
Cozumel is obviously well renowned for its diving on the second largest coral
reef in the world. Divers from all over the world have experienced these waters,
and return year after year to enjoy this amazing natural wonder. Since the
Hurricanes of Emily & Wilma, the growth of the reef has managed to regenerate
over the years. So even if you do not dive, and you enjoy snorkelling, then
Cozumel is the place to experience an amazing array of marine life, and beautiful
colour formations of coral.
There are many activities to keep you occupied & amused on Cozumel, Horseback
Riding, Sailing, Snorkelling, Diving, ATV Tours (All Terrain Vehicle’s), Swimming with
Dolphins, Chankanaab National Park...........and much more!
